• you have a responsibility not to traumatize others. this includes preventing those under your care who do not have, or do not yet have the level of necessary autonomy from traumatizing (or retraumatizing) others.
  
  
• if you can’t guarantee that you (or someone under your care) will not traumatize others (whether or not your behaviour is the result of trauma in and of itself), the root of that potential behaviour should be closely and seriously examined and, if at all possible, mitigated or eliminated.
